Theft in Norland

Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a theft that occurred at the Norland Food Market; and are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.

On September 20, 2021 at approximately 8:45 pm two suspects entered a business on Highway 35 in Norland and stole a bottle of alcohol.

The first suspect is described as being female Caucasian, shoulder length dark hair, blue plaid shirt, dark pants, white shoes, red face mask, black handbag/purse.

The second suspect is described as being male, Caucasian short black/dark brown hair, black t-shirt, grey pants, white shoes.

The suspects were captured on video surveillance.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects in this case. Police urge the public to call in tips to the City of Kawartha Lakes
