KLPS SEEK ASSISTANCE IN AN ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

On November 21, 2022 at 4:17AM the Kawartha Lakes Police responded to the  parking lot of a Needham Street business for the report of an assault.


A snowplow driver was clearing the parking lot of the business and noticed a four-door silver, Pontiac Sunfire parked in the lot. The driver observed two males pacing around the parking lot, he approached them and discussed moving the vehicle to allow for the lot to be cleared. The driver continued to plow snow, believing they were going to move the vehicle. When this did not occur the driver approached the males and again asked if they could move the vehicle. One of the males describe as being; 30-40 years-old responded aggressively, accusing the driver of hitting the second male with the plow. The male proceeded to get a wooden bat out of the car and struck the plow driver in the face. The two males got into their vehicle and left the area, driving towards Highway 36 North.

 

Suspect 1 described as – white male, 30-40  years-old, very short hair, possibly bald, 6’0”, 200lbs, grey coat, dark coloured pants

 

Suspect 2 described as – white male, 15 – 19 years-old, long dark hair, goatee/beard, thin build, yellow coat
